Journey Shield Dashboard

The Journey Shield dashboard shows you data on how often browser extensions that you have set Brand CTRL to detect are accessing, or attempting to access, your site. You can use data to assess whether you want to block extensions that are currently only detected, and whether you want to continue blocking extensions that are currently blocked.

By default, all data applies that the last seven days. To change the selected period, click Last 7 Days at the top of the dashboard.

Total Sessions

Shows the total number of sessionsClosed The period of time when a customer is active on your site. A session times out after 30 minutes of inactivity. during the selected period.

Sessions with Extensions

Shows the percent of sessions where users have extensions that you set Brand CTRL to detect installed on their browsers. This number includes all installed extensions, even if they are not actively running during the session.

Sessions with Detected Extensions

Displays the percent of sessionsClosed The period of time when a customer is active on your site. A session times out after 30 minutes of inactivity. in which Brand CTRL detected an extension running on a shopper's browser. Brand CTRL only detects the extensions that you select on the Journey Shield Rules page.

Sessions with Blocked Extensions

Displays the percent of sessionsClosed The period of time when a customer is active on your site. A session times out after 30 minutes of inactivity. in which Brand CTRL detected and blocked an extension that attempted to run on your shopper's site.

Top Extensions

Shows the extensions that were most-commonly detected extensions.

Top Extension Categories

Shows the most common categories for detected extensions. Categories are set by Yottaa's Extensions Library.

Categories include: 

Coupon Extensions that search for and pull in any available coupons on the checkout page, whether or not they were intended for use by the shopper.
Shopping Extensions that search the web for similar products and redirect your shoppers to other eCommerce sites. Shopping extensions can also provide shoppers with unauthorized coupons.

Most Viewed Pages with Extensions

Shows the most commonly-viewed pages on your site with detected extensions.

Trends

The trends section shows how various metrics have changed over the selected period.

Sessions with Extensions

Shows the total number of sessions and the number of sessions with detected extensions.

Sessions with Detected and Blocked Extensions

Shows the number of sessions where extensions were detected (both when they were blocked and when they were not) and the number of sessions where extensions were detected and blocked.

Diagnostics

The Diagnostics section shows the most recent Journey Shield activity. This data updates hourly, so you can use it to see the effects of any recent changes to your Journey Shield rules.

Latest Detected and Blocked Extension (Last 12 Hours)

Shows sessions with detected and blocked extensions over the past twelve hours.

Most Recent Events

Shows the most recent page views in which extensions were detected, including the URL of the page on which the session was detected, the category of the extension, and whether or not it was blocked.
