InstantOn Configuration

To ensure all complex interactions are taken into consideration, we strongly recommend that you contact Yottaa Customer Success for assistance configuring InstantOn.

You can configure InstantOn options directly in the Yottaa portal. No coding is required.

  • Use the settings on the InstantOn tab in Content Optimization to specify global options for using InstantOn.
  • Create a Quicktune Rule to configure InstantOn for specific pages or user agents.

Configuration Options

Choose how you want to configure InstantOn for your site.

Cache and deliver HTML to clients instantly

Specify the page element (via CSS selectors) that differentiates static vs. dynamic content on your site to identify what should be temporarily delivered while waiting for dynamic content (such as shopper name or cart contents).

Prefetch JavaScript, CSS, fonts, and image resources

Insert the ‘dns-prefetch’ into the link element for specified resources or pages to improve DNS resolution on cross-origin resources. Or, add the ‘preload’ hint for specified images and fonts to schedule them with higher priority. This can be done automatically by Yottaa, or you can specify a specific domain.

Use Dynamic Content functionality

Cache all the HTML on a page, except for specified pieces.
